Capabilities

Everything Dylaris can do.

One panel for the whole lifecycle: build modpacks, run Docker-isolated servers, hand out granular access, back up to your own S3, and, when you are ready, front it all with a DDoS-protected edge.

What sets it apart

The parts you will not find bundled elsewhere.

open beta

Granular Permissions

78 fine-grained capabilities across server, owner and panel scopes. A build-time test proves every protected endpoint is gated, and sessions and API keys run through the exact same check.

closed

Kernel-Level Anti-DDoS

An XDP/eBPF firewall drops junk traffic in the kernel before it costs a CPU cycle, with a Minecraft-protocol-aware parser at the edge.

open beta

Reusable S3 Storage

Add an S3 connection once, encrypted at rest, and reference it by name from backups, core file storage and modpack storage. No re-entering credentials.

open beta

Backups & Restore

Scheduled or on-demand backups with include/exclude patterns, retention limits and one-click restore. Back up a whole server or just one sub-server.

open beta

Modpack Builder

Build modpacks as a real release pipeline (draft, beta, release) with frozen, immutable versions. Modrinth and Technic/Solder packs live in one builder.

closed

Warp NAT Bridge

Pull NAT’d home machines and off-site VPSes into the fleet over a hub-and-spoke WireGuard overlay: self-enrolling, no port forwarding.

open beta

Live Console & RCON

An in-panel RCON terminal with full command access, streamed live over SSE, plus an external API surface for bots and automation.

open beta

Spark Profiler

Start and stop Spark profiling from the panel; report URLs are captured from the console over SSE and a history tab keeps every run.

Platform · open beta

The self-hostable panel.

Install the open-core stack (Core, Node and Panel) on your own box and use every feature below today. It is beta, so expect the occasional rough edge, nothing is gated behind a waitlist.

Server Operations

Docker-Isolated Servers

Every server runs in its own container with hard RAM, CPU and disk limits, and per-server Java (8, 17, 21). One noisy server can never starve another.

Server Lifecycle

Create, start, stop, restart, kill, rename, resize and reinstall a server from the panel. No SSH, no host access.

Live Console & RCON

An in-panel RCON terminal with full command access, streamed live over SSE, plus an external API surface for bots and automation.

Multi Sub-Server Slots

One server entry holds many sub-servers (vanilla, survival, creative, modded) and switches between them in place.

File Browser

A native per-server file browser bound to the server UUID. Edit, upload, move and download over SFTP or Beam.

Per-Server SFTP

Scoped SFTP credentials per server for bulk uploads and your favourite external editor, gated by the same permissions as the panel.

Scheduled Tasks

Cron-style restarts, commands and broadcast messages per server. Set them once with a live cron preview and forget.

Config & Properties Editor

Edit server.properties as structured fields instead of raw text, with the values validated before they reach the server.

CPU Pinning

Pin a server to specific CPU cores (Linux) so a busy neighbour cannot steal the cycles your main server needs.

Player Management

Kick, ban, op and pardon from the panel. Online sessions are tracked live over SSE, so the list never lies.

Access & Teams

Granular Permissions

78 fine-grained capabilities across server, owner and panel scopes. A build-time test proves every protected endpoint is gated, and sessions and API keys run through the exact same check.

Subusers & Server Roles

Invite people to a single server with a role that grants only the capabilities you choose. Perfect for co-owners, mods and builders.

Panel Roles & Presets

Panel-wide roles, reusable permission presets and per-user overrides, so admins and owners get exactly the reach they should have.

Scoped API Keys

Per-user API keys limited to a subset of capabilities and specific servers, with expiry and rate limits. Drive RCON and automation without handing over your account.

Two-Factor Auth

TOTP-based 2FA with backup codes, plus account recovery, so a leaked password is not the end of the story.

Data & Backups

Backups & Restore

Scheduled or on-demand backups with include/exclude patterns, retention limits and one-click restore. Back up a whole server or just one sub-server.

Reusable S3 Storage

Add an S3 connection once, encrypted at rest, and reference it by name from backups, core file storage and modpack storage. No re-entering credentials.

Server & Storage Migration

Move a running server between nodes without data loss before cutover, or migrate your file storage and panel database with inventory and verification steps.

Shared File Library

A shared catalogue of pre-uploaded files (jars, configs, worlds) that any server can pull from during setup.

Modpacks & Content

Modrinth Mod Browser

Search the full Modrinth catalogue by loader and MC version and install with one click. A cached proxy keeps results fast.

Modpack Builder

Build modpacks as a real release pipeline (draft, beta, release) with frozen, immutable versions. Modrinth and Technic/Solder packs live in one builder.

Publish & Export Packs

Publish a pack to Modrinth in one click, ship it to Technic/Solder launchers, or export a plain .mrpack. Share links included.

Custom Tabs

Embed an external web app (a map, a stats page, a wiki) as its own server tab via a built-in reverse proxy, with optional share links.

Monitoring & Operations

Live Metrics

CPU, RAM, disk and player counts stream live over SSE, with history. No polling, no stale dashboards.

Spark Profiler

Start and stop Spark profiling from the panel; report URLs are captured from the console over SSE and a history tab keeps every run.

Activity & Audit Log

A per-server audit trail of who did what, with configurable retention, so nothing important happens without a record.

In-App Notifications

A notification inbox in the panel for the events that matter, from backup results to server state changes.

Support Tickets

A built-in ticket system with categories, priorities, assignment, watchers, attachments and canned responses, for hosts running a real support desk.

Maintenance Mode

Put the panel or specific areas into maintenance with a public banner, so upgrades never catch users by surprise.

Edge & Network: the DDoS-protected edge.

This is the hard-to-self-run part: a kernel-level firewall, protocol-aware edge routing and a NAT bridge that give any backend a clean, attack-resistant address. It powers our hosted BYON offering today. Whether it ever ships as a standalone product you can run yourself is still open.

Run a network or a hosting business and want your own edge? That is exactly the conversation we want to have.

Edge & Network

Kernel-Level Anti-DDoS

optional · gateway

An XDP/eBPF firewall drops junk traffic in the kernel before it costs a CPU cycle, with a Minecraft-protocol-aware parser at the edge.

Edge Routing & Custom Domains

optional · gateway

Multi-region edge routing with TLS termination and custom domains. Players connect to a clean address, always ending in :25565, with no exposed backend IP.

Multi-Region Fleet

optional · gateway

Region-tagged servers and nodes with region-aware scheduling and per-user region access, from one VPS to a global fleet.

Warp NAT Bridge

optional · gateway

Pull NAT’d home machines and off-site VPSes into the fleet over a hub-and-spoke WireGuard overlay: self-enrolling, no port forwarding.

Beam File Transfer

optional · gateway

Fast file transfer through a native desktop client over a TLS-spliced tunnel that hides the node IP, with bandwidth quotas and no exposed port 22.

Portless Edge

optional · gateway

Backends stay behind an outbound-only tunnel: no open ports, works behind NAT and CGNAT. The edge is optional; run on plain ports until you want it.

Interested in your own edge?

Networks and hosts: reach out and we will talk partnership, capacity and what a private edge would look like for you.

Straight about the edges

Dylaris is Minecraft-focused and honest about its scope. It does not import from Pterodactyl, does not run per-server MySQL databases, and has no generic egg/nest system, servers are set up by loader and version. The portless edge is optional; run on plain ports today and add it when you want it.

Spin one up.

Open the hosted panel or read the self-host docs and run the stack yourself. It is free during the open beta.
