Right of Withdrawal
As at 24 August 2026
Who this applies to
This applies if you are a consumer, meaning you are entering into the contract for purposes that are mainly outside your trade, business or profession (Section 13 of the German Civil Code, BGB). If you subscribe as a business, there is no statutory right of withdrawal and this page does not apply to you.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract was concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Bartis.Dev, sole trader Darius Achilles, Goethestr. 30, 39397 Schwanebeck, Germany, email darius@bartis.dev) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated your withdrawal, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
Your right of withdrawal expires before the 14 days are over if we have fully performed the service and only began performing it after you expressly agreed to that and confirmed that you understood you would lose your right of withdrawal on complete performance (Section 356(4) BGB).
This matters here because a subscription starts working the moment you buy it. That is why the checkout asks you to tick a box making exactly that declaration; without it we do not start the subscription. What you agreed to, and when, is recorded with your account.
Model withdrawal form
If you want to withdraw from the contract, you may fill in this form and send it back to us. Copying it into an email is enough.
